Covington, Ky.-based Ashland Inc. introduces six anti-aging technologies for skin and hair, its first launch since acquiring International Specialty Productssix months ago."We've really expanded the global R&D footprint with the acquisition," James Mish, group vice president of Care Specialties, noted during an Apr. 18 press conference at the in-cosmetics trade show in Barcelona.With the integration of ISP, Ashland has tripled its R&D resources in personal care specifically and gained more than 400 patents, bringing its portfolio to roughly 2,500 overall, Mish said.
