The Office of Nonprescription Products is aiming to wrap up pending over-the-counter final monographs by 2010,according to FDA officials."All final monographs will be submitted for FDA clearance by Dec.30,2010," ONP Associate Director Susan Johnson,PhD,said."You can hold me to it;this is my goal,my current target.""I don't think 2010 [is] unrealistic to get everything done we have to get done," Director of ONP Charles Ganley,MD,agreed.The ONP directors outlined their goals during a Cosmetic,Toiletry & Fragrance Association-sponsored "Meet the Regulators" conference Feb.1 in Washington,D.C.
