Studies On Parabens, Phthalates Exposure Offer New Insight

Cosmetics firms phasing out the use of phthalates and parabens may see their investments as further vindicated as studies on human exposure to phthalates and parabens, and the related role of personal-care products, continue to emerge. A study published recently in Environmental Science and Technology determined that infants and toddlers may be exposed to significantly higher daily doses of parabens through use of personal-care products than adult females.
