Dermatologist and laser surgeon Arielle Kauvar is not threatened by home-use aesthetic devices - touted as cheaper and more convenient than professional treatments - but believes there could be a viable market for them as "maintenance" products. "If you have a professional-level treatment and then you want to do some maintenance at home in-between, that may turn out to be a niche for these devices," she suggested in a Sept. 15 interview.
