Clinical testing by Numark Laboratories supports an "extra effective" enhanced duration claim for Certain Dri antiperspirant,according to the company.The firm submitted the study results to FDA June 30 in response to the partial stay of the OTC Antiperspirant Drug Products Final Monograph last fall,which temporarily permitted enhanced duration claims up to 48 hours while the agency reviews new data ("The Rose Sheet" Oct.13,2004,p.3).
