Procter & Gamble has filed suit against Ultreo,Inc.,alleging that the advertising for the firm's ultrasound toothbrushes is misleading,according to a Sept.27 release.The suit,filed in the U.S.District Court for the Southern District of New York,disputes Ultreo's claim that the firm's ultrasound"waveglide"technology removes plaque bacteria in the mouth.P&G asserts that the advertising misleads consumers and dental professionals.
