L'Oreal USA will strengthen its professional products division with the purchase of PureOlogy professional hair care,firm announces May 9.Founded by American hairdresser Jim Markham,the Irvine,Calif.-based PureOlogy offers high-performance,salon-sold hair-care products including its highly concentrated sulfate-free shampoos with And Fade Complex,L'Oreal notes.PureOlogy joins L'Oreal's existing portfolio of professional brands,which includes L'Oreal Professionnel,Kerastase,Matrix,Redken and Mizani.
