Arevised version of the Toxic Substances Control Act could come to a committee vote shortly, according to Sen. Frank Lautenberg, D-N.J. In comments prepared for a Nov. 17 hearing of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee's Subcommittee on Superfund, Toxics and Environmental Health, Lautenberg said he plans to call for a committee vote of the bill "in the near future" and urged lawmakers to "take the next step toward a bipartisan bill."
