P&G Undertakes Multinational Recall Of Oral-B Mouthwashes

Procter & Gamble has shut down a Colombian manufacturing site to address findings of bacterial contamination that have prompted the firm to recall product in Canada, Latin America, China and other Asian markets. According to a company spokesperson, the action comes after the firm detected "out-of-specification" microbial levels of Burkholderia anthina in finished product samples of certain Oral-B mouthwashes produced at the contract manufacturer.
