Profit in State-Owned Enterprises Exceeded RMB1.1 Trillion for 2006

According to the preliminary statistics from the Ministry of Finance,state-owned enterprises in China accomplished sales revenue of RMB13.7 trillion in 2006,an increase of 19.5% over 2005.The profit gained was RMB1.1 trillion,an increase of 19.7%.The tax handed over to the state was RMB1.2 trillion,an increase of 19.1%.
