THE TOPOLOGY OF POINTWISE, COMPACT AND WEAKLY COMPACT CONVERGENCE ON B(X, Y)

摘要

This paper is concerned with three important topologies, the topology of pointwise, compact and weakly compact convergence on the space of bounded linear operators between Banach spaces. We characterize these topologies as variants of the operator norm topology.
