The new method for the basic alkyl salicylate production developed by Dushanzi Petrochemical Company Ltd.won the invention patent of the state on March 7th,2006.Basic alkyl salicylate as an important oil product additive has unique high-temperature oxidization resistance,excellent detergent dispersion,small ash content and no caking.It is therefore extensively used in fuel oils and internal combustion engine oils.
