Every pharmacist on the British register should be seen as a potential supplementary prescriber, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has told the Government in its response to consultation on prescribing by nurses and pharmacists and the necesary changes to prescription only medicines legislation (PJ, 20 April, p521`). The response was approved by he Society's Council at its meeting in London on 11 and 12 June.
