Providing pharmaceutical care - the views of Scottish pharmacists

Community pharmacists may provide many different services which can be described as pharmaceutical care. A survey in Northern Ireland published in 1997 showed that almost half of community pharmacists were attempting to provide pharmaceutical care to patients but a number of potential barriers were identified among this population. Similar bariers have been found elsewhere.
