Never mind the millennium bug, what about the fallow year? I know which is going to have the greatest effect in pharmacy. The situation at present is that all branches of pharmacy are desperately short of (wo)manpower and that with the advent of about 200 primary care groups, most of which should require at least a couple of pharmacists, it would appear that a career in pharmacy is a promising one.
