Peanut Proud Delivers To Tornado Victims

When people are in need, the peanut industry rallies to the call. The recent tornados that ripped through Mississippi and Alabama before moving on to the East Coast left in their wake mile-wide areas of devastation and an opportunity for the Peanut Proud group to "give back." Peanut Proud, a peanut industry 501(c)(3) group began organizing for the delivery of peanut butter and bottled water to church shelters and feeding distribution centers in Alabama and Mississippi as soon as the storms moved through, coordinated by Leajean Manry, Chuck Hancock and Sally Tabb Wells.
