Farm suite software advises in all phases of production

Just in time for the 2002 crop, The Peanut Foundation and USDA's National Peanut Research Lab (NPRL) are releasing a farm management software package that includes the latest editions of Irrigator Pro, Whole Farm Plan, Harvesting Expert System, Peanut Curing Expert System and Capital Investment Analysis. Called Farm Suite, the expert advisor software will be available from state grower organizations in early April. The foundation is releasing Farm Suite at a cost of 25 dollar per package, and it will be considered "shareware," meaning that the program can be copied and shared with friends, neighbors and family members. The original purchaser of the software will be notified of updates, which will happen annually and will include the latest researchfor each peanut producing state. A description of each component of the software package follows.
