Pittsburgh Tube Company changes name

Pittsburgh Tube Company, Pittsburgh, has announced that it has changed its name to PTC Alliance. The name change follows the acquisition of J.H. Roberts Industries Inc. and its subsidiaries, Alliance Midwest Tubular Products, a producer of precision mechanical steel tubing; and Enduro Industries and Enduro-Niagara, producers of chrome-plated bar.This announcement follows a recent reorganization in which sales and operations for all of its North American tubing plants are separated into two commercial entities: the Automotive Group and the Service Center/OEM Group. The company operates 12 plants in North America and two in Europe.
