Finding and hiring qualified individuals in today's economy is difficult at best Our industry is no different. Both company growth and employee turnover contribute to the constant need for recruiting new workers. Most companies are faced with replacing 25 percent of their work force every year. Company recruiters must use every resource available to them to identify, attract, and hire employees Resources available to them are primarily internal referrals, local print publications, recruiting agencies, and trade publications.The Internet is emerging as the most cost- and time-effective method for recruiting. There are two methods of advertising for employees on the Iinternet: mega job boards and industry- or trade-specific sites. The mega sites have hundreds of thousands of job postings and have a broad viewer audience. Individuals actively browsing these job boards are generally seeking employment.
