Petro products,engg goods 'major drivers' of export growth

The country's merchandise export basket has undergone structural changes during the five-year period 2002-07 with petroleum products,engineering goods and ores and minerals emerging as the major drivers of export growth.The share of traditional items showed a reduction,according to the Reserve Bank of India.
