TPA'S new chairman foresees challenges, achievements

In October R. Bruce Benedict began a one-year term as chairman of the board of directors of the Tube & Pipe Association, International (TPA). Bruce is president of Production Tube Cutting Inc., Dayton, Ohio, a Contract tube fabricator founded in 1958 that specializes in cut-to-length with an emphasis on supported shear and close-tolerance word. Previously Bruce was vice president and, general manager of B.S.S. and, before that, president of Alpha lab, a manufacturer of testing equipment for the construction industry. Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Marietta College. He has served in leadership roles with TPA since 1992.
