Wuhan Ethylene Unit Got Approved

The National Development and Reform Commission announced on April 2nd that it has approved an 800 000 t/a ethylene project in Wuhan,Hubei province.The project takes the refinery of Sinopec Wuhan Petrochemical Company Ltd.as the base and has a total investment of approximately RMB 14.7 billion.8 major production units including an 800 000 t/a ethylene unit,a 300 000 t/a LLDPE unit,a 300 000 t/a HDPE unit,a 100 000 t/a EO and 380 000 t/a MEG unit and a 400 000 t/a PP unit,as well as utilities and auxiliary facilities,will be constructed.
