CFCs to be totally phased out by 2010

As per the programme initiated by the Union Government for phasing out production and consumption of ozone depleting substances (ODS),CFCs (chloro fluoro carbons) will be phased out to the extent of 50 per cent by 2005,85 per cent by 2007 and 100 per cent by 2010.
