PetroChina Announces Discovery of Oilfield in Bohai Bay

On May 3rd,PetroChina Company Limited announced that it has discovered a large oilfield at the region of Jidong tidal and shallow-water areas of Bohai Bay - Jidong Nanpu Oilfield.The company has confirmed the three-level geological reserves of oil and gas of 1.02 billion tons,including proved reserves of crude oil of 405.07 million tons,probable reserves of 298.34 million tons,possible reserves of 202.17 million tons and proved natural gas (soluble gas) of 140.1 billion cubic meters,with a good quality of crude oil.
