Mitsubishi Chemical to Build 800,000-t/y PTA Line in India

Mitsubishi Chemical will set up a second purified terephthalic acid (PTA) production line in India,with a world-largest capacity of 800,000 t/y,to be completed in September 2008.It aims to realize substantially lower investment and production costs in the US370 mn construction by simplifying the production process using its proprietary,state-of-the-art technology.
