GRASIM TO SPEND OVER RS 4,000 CRORE ON CAPEX IN PY17

Grasim Industries ltd, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group said that it will spend more than Rs 4,000 crore on capacity expansion of its various businesses - cement, chemicals and VSF in the coming financial year. Grasim Industries is engaged in manufacturing of Viscose Staple Fibre (VSF), used in apparels and cement, which account for over 90 per cent of its revenues. The firm clocked a turnover of around Rs 32,838 crore in the 2014-15 fiscal.
