Documentation of the characteristic Negri Body inclusionin canine rabies

摘要

The pathological features of rabies infection in canines and humans have been well characterized. This notwithstanding, the essential feature of the disease for pathological diagnosis is rarely illustrated, and if at all, poorly so. This communication attempts to remedy this deficiency with the study of an infected dog brain; it also reports meningeal involvement, a finding absent in the existing literature.
