Deepak Fertiliser and Petrochemicals is positioning itself to emerge as a petrochemicals company, reducing it dependence on fertilisers. Group chairman, C.K.Mahta told shareholders at the company's annual general meeting (AGM) that DFPCL is looking at the non-fertiliser industry for growth. "We want to diversity fast, in one or two years, and remove the uncertainty which we face over supply of natural gas and government subsidies," he said.
