In the last decade, Chinese chemical industries have achieved great heights and moved forward by leaps and bounds. This is reflected by the fact that almost all multinational chemical companies now have big presence in China, by way of manufacturing facilities, research and development centres and mutually beneficial technical and management collaboration with the Chinese chemical industries. Now, the question is as to who have gained more by such developments, whether the chemical industries in China or the multinational companies based in Europe and USA. Time alone will answer this question.
