The Significance of Contributing to Science Through Publication

Immediately after our national meeting, I am always awash with emotions: happiness to see my annual friends and colleagues from around the world and sadness that I cannot see them more frequently. I share excitement about news of how practitioners are implementing new strategies or modifying techniques. I, however, find myself most motivated to reorganize and evaluate past efforts-successes and failures-and wonder how I can contribute to a successful reevalu-ation after next year's meeting.
