ANANTH KUMAR PRESENTS AWARDS FOR 'TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION IN PETROCHEMICAL & DOWNSTREAM' INDUSTRY

Union Chemicals and Petrochemicals Minister Mr. Ananth Kumar said that the government is exploring the possibilities of setting up more petrochemical hubs in the country. Presenting the 4th National Awards for Technology Innovation in Petrochemical & Downstream Plastics Processing Industry to the awardees at a function in New Delhi, he said : "There is tremendous potential in the petrochemicals sector and we are looking to set up more hubs as it will also generate employment opportunities." He also urged industry and the entrepreneurs to go for technology innovation. He called for sustained growth with competitive edge in the petrochemicals and plastics processing downstream industry in the years to come.
