End September starts the season of Awards for work accomplished during 2015 or before. So you will soon be witnessing on 30th September ICC's prestigious award function at Hotel Taj Mahal Palace & Tower, Mumbai. There are nine major awards, most in two categories for corporations having sales turnover of greater than Rs.500 Crore and those with lesser turnover. Additionally, Certificates of Merit are awarded for companies with exemplary work but missing out on full award. Among the Awards are one of ICC's oldest and hence most well known the prestigious ICC Sir P. C. Ray Award for Development of Indigenous Technology and more recently established three personal Awards, the ICC Lifetime Achievement Award and ICC D. M. Trivedi Awards for Contribution to Chemical Industry (For Management of Industry & for Education and Research). The prestigious ICC Aditya Birla Award for Best Responsible Care Committed Company for the year 2015 also will be presented to the winner which carries a Cash prize of Rupees One lakh and a crystal Memento depicting the RC symbol. The Award function will be preceded by a symposium given by Award winners on their work at the same venue.
