Food and the Big society

This year our conference looks at how food sits with the idea of a Big Society. Our new director, Helen Browning, explains what role she sees the Soil Association taking in the future. To friends old and new, hello. As I prepare to take on the daunting responsibility of leading the Soil Association into the new decade, I have been reflecting a great deal on the history of our movement and how we can continue to make the best possible contribution to the health and wellbeing of this and future generations.
