COMPLIANCE TO CHEMICAL WEAPONS CONVENTION ACT

Indian Chemical Council - Gujarat organised a focus programme on 'Compliance to CWC Act - 2000' in Vadodara, Gujarat State onllth August, 2011. Mr. Kumaresh Misra, Organisation for Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) was present on the occasion. Mr. Ravi Kapoor, Chairman, ICC - Gujarat Chapter welcomed the representatives from the declaring facilities of the region, who were present in a sound strength. Mr. Kapoor hailed the positive response in filing the declarations under CWC Act by the chemical industry but also emphasised upon the continuance of spreading the message to the industry members who have yet to comply with the statutory obligations and informed that CWC HelpDesk at 'ICC - Gujarat' is available for outright guidance on the subject.
