Daesung Special Steel Pipe to Introduce Production Facilities for Seamless Steel Tubes in June

Daesung Special Steel Pipe, a local maker of cold-drawn steel tubes, is expected to introduce new seamless tubing facilities in June at the latest. In the domestic steel industry which is producing only seamless stainless steel tubes, Daesung Special Steel Pipe will become to turn out seamless carbon steel tubes for the first time in Korea, if the tubing facilities go on-stream. Daesung Special Steel Pipe's introduction of the tubing facilities was originally supposed to be completed by the end of last year. However, the delivery of the facilities has been delayed for six months due to the internal matter of a Russian trader with whom the company made the deal for the imports of the facilities.
