Hyundai INI Steel Elects Chairman Chung Mong-ku as Director

Hyundai INI Steel held March 11 its 40th regular general meeting of shareholders at Incheon Paradise Hotel to approve the annual business report for 2004 and elect Chung Mong-ku, Chairman of Hyundai-Kia Motor Group, as a registered director of the company. The general meeting of shareholders also reappointed Kim Moo-il as Vice Chairman of Hyundai INI Steel, and Prof. Ahn Rae-sik of Seoul National University, and Yoon Dong-min, Lawyer of Kim & Chang's Law Firm, were newly chosen as outside directors of Hyundai INI Steel. Thus, the number of directors of the firm has become 9, an increase of one from year ago, including 4 inside directors and 5 outside directors.
