Poongsan, Poongkuk Trading Establish Joint Venture

PNP Tech Corp., a new joint venture established by Poongsan and Poongkuk Trading, launched into its business on a full scale. PNP Tech held April 22 a ceremony for completion of the production facilities and opening of the office at its factory located at Youngi-goon, Choongchongnam-do. PNP Tech is capable of turning out 3,600 tons of brass wire with diameter in a range of 0.9-1.2mm. The joint venture, which was founded in November last year, had a completion ceremony on that day after the installation of 3 sets of brass wire production facilities. The company has a monthly brass wire production capacity of 300 tons at present but has a plan to raise its annual output capacity up to 7,200 tons through the expansion of the facilities in the future. Introduction of additional facilities is expected to finish within this year, according to the company.
