Daehyup Steel Asan Factory to Begin Operation of New Facilities at End of April

Daehyup Steel, a steel service center (SSC) for POSCO, is scheduled to finish the installation of new facilities at its Asan Factory and to begin its full-scale operation of them at the end of April. The new facilities, for which Daehyup Steel is currently under installation work, are each one unit of slitter with an annual cutting capacity of 90,000 tons, rotary shear with an annual cutting capacity of 60,000 tons and mini shear with an annual cutting capacity of 15,000 tons, and the SSC is expecting to upgrade its processing quality with the new facilities that will replace the superannuated ones at the factory.
