POSCO Pohang Works Completes BSSF at No.2 Steelmaking Plant

Unlike the existing slag processing facilities that take slag from furnaces and cool down the slag temperature, the BSSF can mechanically cool down, crush and solidify hot-dipped slag at high temperature. It can separately collect iron from slag and process slag for recycling.
