Surging Prices for Raw Materials May Make South Korea Have Difficulty in Attaining Annual Economic Growth Goal This Year
South Korea's economy is making a fast recovery, getting out of the global financial crisis, but the outlook for its economic growth in 2011 is not so bright. The nation's trade surplus marked U.S.$2.91 billion in January, U.S.$2.46 billion in February, U.S.$2.78 billion in March, U.S.$5.13 billion in April and U.S.$2.74 billion in May (from May 1 through 20, based on customs clearance value) this year.
