At present, Korean automotive industry's direct investment in China is continuously increasing. As of the end of 2010, direct investment by South Korea's industries of automobiles and trailers in China totaled U.S.$2.86 billion won for 788 projects, which account for 59.9% of the nation's total overseas direct investment in terms of project number and made up 29.4% of the entire investment in terms of amount of money.
