Domestic steel output to be close to 70 million tons next year.

The domestic output of steel products in 2011 is forecast to achieve record high 69 million tons level. According to '2011 Steel Products Supply and Demand Outlook' released by the Korea Iron & Steel Association, the domestic steel production will grow by 5.8% to 69.12 million tons, thanks to the added capacity and the firm demand from the steel consuming industries' except the construction.
