JOINT STATEMENT BY AMERICAN CHEMISTRY COUNCIL AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHEMICAL DISTRIBUTORS ON ENHANCING SAFETY AND INDUSTRY PERFORMANCE

The American Chemistry Council (ACC) and the National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) stressing the importance of implementation of their mutual industry performance programs, namely Responsible Care~R and Responsible Distribution. Both programs are membership requirements and require third party verification. The MOU stressed the associations' willingness to work together through these programs to share best practices, systems and performance metrics, and increase collaboration on industry events.
