China's Cancellation of Export Tax Rebate on H-beams Likely to Exert Little Influence on Import Prices

China will cancel the 9% export tax rebate on steel products including hot-rolled coils, cold-rolled steel sheets and sections from mid-July, the China's Ministry of Finance said on June 22. Chinese steelmakers' offer prices for H-beams for Korean importers are formed in a range of U.S.$625-650 per ton (CFR) at present.
