Dongil Steel to Make Facility Investment in Production of Sections for Shipbuilding

Dongil Steel plans to produce sections for use in shipbuilding and to launch into the construction of overseas plants. An official at the company said that it has purchased a site of 49,587 sq. meters (equivalent to about 15,000 pyung) for the construction of a new plant that will produce various sections including unequal angels necessary for shipbuilding. Dongil Steel announced on August 27 that it will conduct the paid-in capital increase by the third party in order to prepare about 26 billion won necessary for the company to launch into its new business projects including the construction of oversea plants.
