Doosan Heavy Ind. to Develop Engineering, Construction Technology for Large-scale RO Desalination Plants

Doosan Heavy Ind., which is holding the largest share of the global market for multi-stage flash (MSF) desalination plants, is pushing forward with the technical development of large-scale reverse osmosis (RO)-type desalination facilities in order to secure a dominant position in this field as well in the world market. Doosan announced that it has been recently selected as a firm to develop the engineering and construction technology for large-scale desalination plants for the government's large-size national research project VC-10 under the support from the Ministry of Construction and Transportation and the overall supervision by Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology.
