Automotive Production Hits Record High in 2007

Korea's annual production of automotive vehicles posted 4,086,173 units in 2007, renewing the previous record high. According to recent data from the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA), Korean automakers' annual production increased 6.4 percent last year compared with 3.84 million units in the preceding year, helped by robust growth in sales both at home and abroad.
