The role of immunochemical testing for colorectal cancer

摘要

We read with great interest the report by Fraser and colleagues and the comment by Scholefield on the application of immunochemical testing for colorectal cancer in an organised screening programme. Colorectal cancer is a large epidemiological and economic burden for both society and the health-care financing agency in Hungary, and thus this disease and screening for it are important issues.
