DENVER, CO - Midway Gold Corp. reported the completion of a first gold pour at the Pan Mine in White Pine County, Nevada. Pan is the Company's first producing mine and has advanced from permitting through construction in just over three years. 20 days after the introduction of cyanide, the company poured approximately 100 ounces while commissioning the refinery. Pouring of gold at the Pan Mine marks the beginning of a new chapter at Midway Gold, Bill Zisch, Midway's President & CEO states.
