摘要

The world's most important rhodochrosite occurrences, Pasto Bueno andUchucchacua in Peru, Hotazel and N'Chwaning in South Africa, and theSweet Home and Sunnyside mines in Colorado, are either permanentlyclosed or at best only occasionally productive. The Wutong mine is themost important new rhodochrosite locality oj the 21st Century,producing extraordinary crystals up to 20 cm across.
